Surfboard Decals
Our surfboard decals are hand screen printed onto premium Japanese long-fibre silk paper, with a standard sheet size of 380mm x 250mm.
We offer a unique choice of two decal paper weights to suit different applications:
19 GSM – Ideal for white or light tints
This is the more cost-effective option and works perfectly on white or lightly tinted boards. The paper becomes fully transparent against light backgrounds, giving a clean, seamless finish.
9 GSM – Ideal for dark resin tints
For darker boards, standard 19 GSM paper can sometimes leave visible edges. Our ultra-thin 9 GSM paper eliminates this issue, becoming virtually invisible even on dark backgrounds. Due to its delicate nature, it is mounted onto a backing sheet (similar to a vinyl sticker) to allow for screen printing. Coming soon!
To produce your decals, we require high-resolution artwork at 300 DPI to ensure the best possible print quality.
Stickers
Unlike most sticker printers, we hand pull our stickers using a screen printing flat bed, giving a higher quality sticker compared to digitally printed ones.
Top quality solvent inks are printed on to premium Oracal vinyl sheets, forming a strong bond which, once dried, creates a waterproof and extremely hardwearing sticker, suitable for outdoor use and watersports.
Each sheet can have a mix of designs and sizes, although this will be restricted to the layout of the sheet to ensure they can be guillotined properly.
Art Prints
ALL OF OUR POSTER AND ART PRINTS ARE SCREEN PRINTED BY HAND
Using a specialised vacuum flatbed ensures that the paper is kept flat and registration with multiple coloured prints is 100% accurate.
We use the finest water-based system 3 acrylic paints available. These are mixed with a screen printing medium to produce a very high finish.
We recommend using Snowdon 300gsm cartridge paper for art prints and poster prints.
